CSO Pump Action screen “PAS”
The Pump Action Screen is a revolutionary concept in mechanical screenings. Utilising the principles of static and mechanical screening means the PAS is the future of screening products. The PAS requires no man entry for maintenance and with no moving parts the operational input is limited. The simple yet robust design, minimal maintenance requirement, ease of operation and competitive price make the PAS the screen of choice for designers, engineers and operators .
Applications
The PAS can be installed in:
· CSO's
· Storm Water Retention Tanks
Benefits
· 6mm screening in two directions
· High Solids Retention Value (SRV) of 58%
· Robust proven components
· Minimal maintenance
· Screen has no moving parts
· Modular system for retrofitting through existing manholes
· Scour system reduces screenings presented to the screen giving improved screening efficiency
· Servicing can be carried out without man entry into the chamber
· Introduction of air reduces oxygen demand of the spill and pass forward flow
· Auto operation
· Can be installed in both deep and shallow chambers without effecting performance
· Available in 300mm and 500mm diameter screen baskets
· Low power requirements
· Stainless Steel Construction (304 & 316)
Flows
· Can screen flows upto 1766l/s as a single screen
· For larger flows, multiple screens can be installed in parallel
US Patent (or Pat.) No 7,028,849
CSO Static wave screen
The CSO Static Wave Screen is the ideal solution when screening is required without the use of power. The CSO static wave screen is designed for screening storm water in various applications. The screen will retain all gross solids, larger than 6mm in two directions, in the pass forward flow for removal downstream. The Static Wave Screen is the simple and cost effective choice for storm water screening. A range of screen cleaning systems are available.
Applications
The Static Wave Screen can be installed in:
· Combined Sewer Overflows
· Storm Tank Overflows
· Pumping Station Overflows
Benefits
· High Solids Retention Value (SRV) of 55%
· High Flow Rates per m²
· Retains all solids greater than 6mm in the pass forward flow
· Stainless Steel Construction (304 & 316)
· Can be modular for retrofitting through existing manholes
· No power requirement
Flows
· Units designed and sized to suit your required spill flow |
