Flow Regulators
Alpheus “AT” Range

The Alpheus “AT” Flow Regulator can be installed in a dry or semi dry chamber allowing the unit to be safely maintained. Its robust design and auto de-block function makes this unit the ideal solution for hassle free flow control. With more than a thousand units installed and operational, it is a proven and effective method of flow control.

Applications
The Alpheus AT can be installed in:
  • Storm Water Storage Tanks
  • Sewers
  • Retention Tanks
  • Overflow Chamber

Benefits

  • No headloss
  • No external power requirements
  • Suitable for semi dry and dry installations
  • Automatic De-blocking
  • Consistent outlet flow irrespective of water level (upto 4m head)
  • Factory calibrated to exact pass forward requirements
  • Easy onsite recalibration
  • Minimum maintenance
  • Stainless steel construction as standard

  • Can be installed in rectangular and circular chambers
  • Wall or flang mounted

Flows

  • AT range can pass forward flows between 2 and 680l/s
  • Sizes from DN100 & DN600
Alpheus “AS” Range

Low cost system for accurate flow control, in areas where the risk of blockage is low. The system is design for installation in a wet chamber, the designed discharge rate is accurately controlled, irrespective of head, up to 5m. Flow control is achieved with the help of a float, located inside the Alpheus’ bell housing.

Applications
The Alpheus AS is suitable for:
  • Inlet Works
  • Retention Tanks
  • Balancing Tanks
  • Rain water systems
Benefits
  • No headloss
  • No external power requirements
  • Consistent outlet flow irrespective of water level upto 5m
  • Factory calibrated to exact pass forward requirements
  • Can be recalibrated
  • Minimum maintenance
  • Stainless steel construction as standard
  • Compact design allowing ease of installation in confined spaces
  • Can be utilised in rectangular and circular chambers
  • Suitable for retrofitting into existing chambers
  • Built in manual override to clear blockages
  • Key moving parts above the water level
Flows

  • AS range can pass forward flows between 2 and 2400l/s
  • Sizes from DN100 & DN1000

    Alpheus “AA” Range

  • Due to the presence of sewage related debris it is possible for the standard version of the Alpheus flow limiters to suffer from blockages. These can be overcome by operating personnel using a manual pull device. To minimise the need for operator intervention, the Alpheus AA is the ideal solution. The flow regulation of the Alpheus AA is identical to that of the Alpheus AS, however in addition to the manual pull device, the AA has a system, which automatically detects and clears most blockages. The AA should be given preference, over the AS, in combined water systems and for low pass forward flow rates (<10 l/s). The AA is suitable for installation in wet chambers only.

    Applications
The Alpheus AA can be installed in:

  • Sewers
  • Retention Tanks
  • Inlet Works
  • Balancing Tanks

  • Benefits

  • No head loss
  • No external power requirements
  • Suitable for wet installations
  • Automatic De - Blocking
  • Consistent outlet flow irrespective of water level
  • Factory calibrated to exact pass forward requirements
  • Easy onsite recalibration
  • Minimum maintenance
  • Stainless steel construction as standard
  • Compact design allowing ease of installation in confined spaces
  • Can be utilised in rectangular and circular chambers
  • Suitable for retrofitting into existing chambers
  • Built in manual override
  • Key moving parts above the water level
  • Flows

  • AA range can pass forward flows between 2 and 185l/s
  • Sizes from DN100 & DN350

    Alpheus “ATK” Range

  • The Alpheus “ATK” Flow Regulator combines all the attributes of the AT unit, but is designed to be installed in wet chambers. Its robust design and auto de-block function makes this unit the ideal solution for hassle free flow control. Its self-contained assembly means it is perfectly designed for installations in wet chambers, eliminating the problem of ragging of integral components.

    Applications
The Alpheus ATK can be installed in:

  • Storm Water Storage Tanks
  • Sewers
  • Retention Tanks
  • Overflow Chamber
  • Benefits

  • No headloss
  • No external power requirements
  • Suitable for wet installations
  • Automatic De-blocking
  • Consistent outlet flow irrespective of water level upto 4m
  • Factory calibrated to exact pass forward requirements
  • Easy onsite recalibration
  • Minimum maintenance
  • Stainless steel construction as standard
  • Compact design allowing ease of installation in confined spaces
  • Remote control option available
  • Can be utilised in rectangular and circular chambers
  • Wall or flange mounted
  • For use in storm or combined flows
  • Flows

  • AT range can pass forward flows between 2 and 680l/s
  • Sizes from DN100 & DN600

    SA valves

  • The SA valve is used when it is desirable to completely close a chamber inlet/outlet at a predetermined water level within the chamber. The SA can be used to limit the top water level as well as a non-return valve. The SA is a reliable non-powered alternative to an electrically actuated penstock.

    Applications
SA Valves can be used to:

  • Regulate and divert rain water within a channel separation system
  • Control the inlet rate into a pumping station wet well
  • Control the top water level in a chamber
  • Prevent floods, especially during power cuts
  • Benefits

  • Installed on the wet side, so no separate chamber is required
  • Space saving and no complicated benching required
  • No need for a head loss
  • No power required
  • Manufactured from stainless steel (304 & 316), corrosion resistant
  • High efficiency at a low capital and running cost
  • Compact, suitable for retro fitting into existing chambers
  • Quick and easy installation

  • Flows

  • As standard, units are available between DN100 and DN1000
  • Custom built designs are available on request

  • SWDS Valves

The SWDS valve is a float-operated valve. It is used to limit the outlet flow from a tank or sewer. During storm activity the chamber will fill and exceed the hydraulic capacity of the valve, leading to backing up in the chamber. The float will rise with the water level progressively closing the gate plate as it does so.

    Applications
SWDS Valves can be used to limit flows of combined and wastewater from:

  • Storm water retention tanks
  • Storm water tanks
  • Sewers

  • Benefits

  • Manufactured from stainless steel (304 & 316), corrosion resistant
  • Wall or flang
